General Electric Finance Intern in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Role Summary:

The Intern will work closely to South Cone GE Gas Power team, and will interact with colleagues across all Functions, especially Operations. They will have the opportunity to work improving their excel skills, understanding how an ERP system interacts and pull financials together for easier reporting and opportunity to work on projects & areas to simplify & streamline activities and gain great understanding of financial operations of a multinational corporation.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ad-hoc business analysis

  • Responsible for assessing GPS Headcount Validation

  • Review base cost, define root cause between plan vs actual and explain variation

  • Support Operations for purchase order validation and ad hoc queries

  • Supervise and give support to diverse finance functions

  • Any other duties / responsibilities to meet and fulfill the needs of the business.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Student of Business Administration, Accounting or related – has 2 years to graduate approximately

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Proficient in English and Spanish
