Undertakegeological interpretation and analysis using appropriate techniques andtechnologies to provide world-class solutions for the client.
Providegeological and geophysical input to multi-disciplinary projects, includingresource evaluations, unitization and redetermination assessments, andfield development studies.
Constructand audit reservoir geomodels for assets with varying data availability,from frontier exploration and new field developments to mature producingassets.
Presentdata, interpretation and reports to clients either individually or as partof the larger project team.
Adviseclients on geoscience matters, often at a senior level.
Actas Project Manager on some projects, maintaining frequent contact with theclient and ensuring adherence to timescales and budgets.
Providegeoscience support and advice to colleagues.
Mentorthe development of less experienced geoscience colleagues.
Assistthe business development team.
Attendconferences and forums and serve as an ambassador for GCA.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree inGeology/Geoscience or equivalent. MBA inrelated Carrier will be a must.
Development/productiongeologist with a broad range of experience gained from working for anOperator on a range of assets from select/define through to projectexecution, with exposure to mature field redevelopment and reservoirsurveillance.
Advancedgeomodelling skills (preferably using Petrel).
Stronguncertainty assessment and quantification capabilities.
Abilityto work independently, and deliver as part of a team.
Strongunderstanding of all aspects of petroleum geosciences, including seismicinterpretation, petrophysical analysis and reservoir engineeringprinciples.
Capableof travel flexibility.
FluentEnglish and Spanish
Portuguese is desirable.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
The position is for the Buenos Aires office. The professional will be local in Argentina.Must be Argentine resident. Visa and relocation will not be considered for thisposition.
