General Electric Supply Chain Finance Analyst – EMEA in Budapest, Hungary

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst, Europe, will closely partner with the EMEA Supply Chain leader, to drive Total Cost Productivity, manage working capital, and provide critical insights to lead supply chain strategy for the region. The role will also partner closely with the regional Commercial and FP&A teams to develop clearer understanding of margin execution and value gap. The role will also liaise with the broader Global Supply Chain Finance team to drive SAP initiatives across the function
In this position, you will:
Lead financial activities for monthly and quarterly closing, and provide strong leadership in Forecasts; SRO, SII, Op Plan setting.
Provide Management reporting on Variable Cost productivity (PPV, DMI, Labor, etc) within the region, developing risk mitigation plans and driving project ideas.
Lead analytics around distribution productivity; Inbound/Outbound and duties. Tracking efficiencies in transportation modality, expediting, and budget overages.
Develop Sourced Finished Goods model for Variable cost / Cash trade-offs, providing recommendations on economics of Supplier Agreements and Supplier Risk
Coordinate with Supply Chain FP&A and Commercial Finance to track Global Value Gap and inflation impact on Product Line Profitability.
Oversee forecasting of working capital (Inventory & Payables), partnering with operations to drive efficiencies and track execution of initiatives
Facilitate Inventory health discussions across Supply Chain, Product Management and Commercial team, to drive cash optimization and mitigate slow moving inventory and obsolescence risk.
Working with Global costing analyst; maintain processes around effective product costing strategies, and ensure consistent data governance across inputs to construct Inventory standard costing
Oversee transactional flows and correct accounting behind; PO creation, Goods Receipts/Invoice Receipt, Payables/settlements, and coordinate remediation of issues
Drive controllership in Inventory obsolescence, supplier agreements, and rebates.
Provide reporting and analytical support for strategic initiatives
Perform ad-hoc analyses and additional related duties as assigned
Partner with broader Supply Chain Finance team to drive simplification initiatives in SAP Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and/or Business with an accredited college or university and /or equivalent experience
Strong Managerial Accounting principals
Proven experience in a Financial role
SAP, Hyperion HFM, BI experience
Strong computer and analytical skills
Advanced user in Excel
