Job Description Summary

In this role you will lead the digital transformation of the Source to Pay (S2P) Process Stream across the Gas Power strategic Oracle ERP landscape, with special focus on the Alpha ERP. The S2P Oracle Product Manager is the custodian of the Target Process Model for the process stream and how it is consistently solutioned across multiple Oracle ERP platforms (especially Alpha) as well as within the modules of the particular platform. She/he partners directly with her/his functional counterparts to set goals & objectives on business outcomes, agree on supporting Oracle ERP capabilities and critical design decisions, as well as deployment and continuous improvement priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for creating strong working relationships & influence across Services & Parts executive leadership with laser focus on the S2P, Inventory related processes across Oracle ERPs, and will be responsible for driving scope, practices and overall IT strategy for this set of processes. Builds strong partnerships with application / platform owners on matters related to integrated information flows and functionalities to ensure that digital capabilities are developed in concert with the ERP eco-system. Ultimately, this role is accountable for delivery of agreed Oracle ERP capabilities and their deployment, in a way that enables functional stakeholders to ensure value realization from ERP, such as Parts OTD (on-time delivery), etc.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Wing-to-Wing S2P Oracle ERP roadmap plan and execution including Alpha Parts MGPP (Multi-Generational Program Plan) program support and sub-programs leadership

  • Leverage your deep experience with Oracle Order Management suite of products, as part of your design leadership

  • Lead the Design and Configuration capabilities for the Sourcing & Procurement related Oracle ERP processes and products, leveraging your process knowledge and experience across the S2P,P2P and Warehousing.

  • Be an active member of the S2P ERP Council to align functional goals, continuous improvement priorities, and end-state vision priorities into an execution plan that supports the function and overall Gas Power targets as key Oracle Product Manager

  • Support other key Process Steams: Fulfillment and Finance to address Gas Power wide opportunities such as VCP (variable cost productivity), Parts OTD (on-time-delivery), Services Growth, etc. Owns coordination and interface for systems and processes interacting with in-scope Oracle ERPs.

  • Collaborate with business, functional partners and technology leadership to determine strategic and tactical roadmap of ERP Digital Capabilities that maximize the impact towards Hoshin Kanri outcomes.

  • Drive Oracle ERP landscape simplification by collaborating with other value stream leaders as well as D&A (Data and Analytics), Enterprise Architecture and Data Science when needed

  • Provide active participation in lean improvements across the whole landscape and balance execution of requirements with landscape simplification

  • Help define and prioritize Oracle ERP capabilities targeted to deliver most business value across the Fulfillment process stream.

  • Lead and coordinate internal and vendor resources executing various projects across multiple projects

  • Coordinate allocation of technical resources

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies.

  • Partner with leadership of technical and functional teams external to the organization to ensure enough support and engagement

  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting

  • Guide project teams through decision and pivot points as required

  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering

  • Significant IT professional experience along with established leadership credentials across ERP product lines.

  • GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel 10% of the time

Desired Characteristics:

Professional Background

  • professional experience with Oracle e-Business

  • Project Management experience in an Oracle ERP implementation environment is considered a plus

  • Proven experience of working with executive-level stakeholders to define IT strategy and managing multiple projects

  • Track record of driving IT innovation and technology-driven business outcomes

Technical Experience

  • Experience with at least two full life-cycle Oracle ERP projects (planning, analysis, design, build, test, deploy)

  • Deep experience with Oracle Material Management suite of products

  • Experience as an ERP team lead for the Order Management suite, in a project implementation or product ownership role

  • Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or Oracle OTM modules considered a plus

  • Experience working with Oracle ERP with a global configuration and with a highly integrated architecture, considered a plus

  • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

  • Experience managing budgets including annual budgets

  • PMP, Scrum Master or related Project Management certification
