Job Description Summary
GE Renewable Energy headquarter is seeking a Sr Technical Project Manager to join the Commercial DT team that is currently transforming the way sales and commercial teams manage opportunities inside Salesforce.com. You will be instrumental in organizing the requirements inflow, liaising with several Business and Technical teams (internal and external) and delivering to our Businesses the best suitable solution, integrated in our existing landscape.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within the team to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs.
In this role, you will:
Interact with internal and/or external customers and product managers to understand customer needs and timelines
Collaborate with development and operations teams. Support them with scope considerations and project requirements
Demonstrate increasing understanding of project management
Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles to collaborate with Build and Release teams
Ensure that releases meet quality standards and functional requirements
Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production
Show increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product
Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and domain expertise
Demonstrate ability to influence customers and project managers through persuasion and influencing
Lead Commercial projects and releases from the business requirements to the delivery
Identify and improve processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction leveraging LEAN methodology
Contribute to build to the Commercial IT roadmap (identifying and maturing projects - CRM)
Define the end to end process with business stakeholders and assess impacts on other processes and tools
Ensure that the deliverables answer the Business Requirements and secure the project quality
Facilitate, communicate, collaborate and negotiate between business teams, technical teams and other streams to bring features to closure
Deliver key enhancements to improve commercial processes and tools though Change Requests (in releases) and problem management, maximizing the Business Value.
Review, Track and positively impact our “DT indicators” like sales efficiency, commercial productivity, on time programs, project benefits, tools adoption and others.
Master Degree in Computer Science or related field like information technology (IT)
4+ years of experience in eCommerce / Salesforce.com project and implementation experience across several functions (Sales, Service, Commercial, …) with 2+ year previous experience in an IT project lead role or in project management role (including Business Analyst activities).
Experience with onshore/offshore Agile methodology within an international large company (ideally on commercial domain and in the industry),
Project Methodology and IT domain strong knowledge: “agile”, “waterfall”, “lean”, “Saas”, “ITIL”, “ISO”…
