Organization: The Global Ops Finance Record to Report (R2R) Digital Transformation Team is a component of the Global Ops Finance Europe organisation. The R2R Global Ops Finance Europe team is in charge to provide support mainly related to the regular activities related to the closing of the books of GE’s affiliates across 31 countries in Europe in contact with the local/regional business controllership teams and the teams of the other enterprise standards based in Budapest.
Services are governed by the GE R2R Enterprise Standards. Services scope include preparatory and closing activities in areas like Compensation & Benefit, Treasury, Commercial, Supply Chain or Tax and Intercompany.
Spanning across R2R is the Digital Transformation team which is responsible for supporting, implementing and expanding enterprise solutions which impact multiple businesses and processes. Projects include: Finance Data Lake (FDL) based solutions, transactional system enhancements and ERPs.
The role will be responsible for supporting the roll out of Finance Data Lake products to drive process improvements and productivity. The role will span several stakeholder groups and will require to work closely with the Finance IT and Digital team to drive synergies and support from functional standpoint on the execution of Finance Guardian, PayTm and ATM with respective within finance and outside finance (IT, SSS, etc.) and requires strong organizational, influencing and communication skills.
Will be responsible for aligning with stakeholders and ensuring timely execution of project. Additionally, they will support strategic decisions and ensure communication to impacted parties within R2R.
Identify used cases across process and track the progress through GO-live and related benefits realization
Functionally aligned with all Digital - ALs to ensure consistency and avoiding overlap across centers and businesses
Weekly / bi-weekly update to all key stakeholders in Europe across functions and GPLs
Provide user feedback for various feature release in FDL and closely work with Digital IT team to address issues & enhance the functionality of it
Develop expertise in usage of various products in FDL and design long term support model for the region aligned with Digital team
Develop extensive training and adoption plan for each process and vertical teams with Europe – R2R leadership team
Co-ordinate with FDL - Biz enabling analytical leaders and GO – R2R leaders around priorities and usage of various FDL products – FDS, Navigator and auto recs
Support other Digital initiatives which leverages FDL e.g. ATM, finance guardian, PayTm, digital stat audit etc.
Ability to work independently while proactively communicating roadblocks
Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Ability to work and prioritize under deadlines
Prior finance experience in a multinational environment
Strong communication & presentation skills
BS degree in Finance or related field
Written and verbal fluency in English
First-hand experience in large multinational companies
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (powerpoint, excel, etc.)
