He / She will be the main architect of the overall renewable ServiceMax platform (Grid and Hydro), The ServiceMax/Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for the functional & technical consistency of the Renewable ServiceMax platform including as the Salesforce platform, architecture and compliance golden rules

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define the solution architecture best practices and build a long-term technical solution vision ensuring a long-term sustainability of the platform and the alignment with the business expectations

  • Accountable that technical solution design meets platform architecture guidelines and best practices. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.

  • Accountable that the technical solution designs meet the functional requirements specified.

  • Estimate the Workload of requirements specified and propose achievable release scope based on workload in collaboration with Product Owners

  • Communicate regularly on development activities (Dev & Ops Team) with all project Stakeholders (Business, Functional team, Program director, Support team leader) in Change Control Boards, Workshops, internal coordination with Functional team, etc.

  • Anticipate any bottleneck in Development activity

  • Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, performance, and security and compliance.

  • Approves the content of the release prior to UAT and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.

  • Effective Management of Vendors or IT partner team.

  • In an agile mode, run with Dev & Ops teams support regularly demos to involve business in validation cycle

  • Provide guidance to development team in performing configuration management, Design & build phase.

  • Supports the Delivery in DevOps. Approve the Quick-Hits for Support team.

  • Coaches technical leads and developers.

  • Be proactively informed with new ServiceMax versions and do recommendation to business partner on version upgrade.

  • Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence.

  • Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance and Regulatory aspects of the solution.

Qualification/Requirements

  • BC (Computer Science) / MC degree, or comparable experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of IT experience with 3+ years on SFDC or should have designed Technical solutions for at least 4-5 salesforce.com implementations.

  • Masters on application area or platform (SFDC Service Cloud / ServiceMax) and the integration aspects with other platforms, including solid understanding of architecture.

  • One full cycle implementation in ServiceMax required.

  • Expert in Salesforce.com CRM and its Development Life Cycle.

  • Expertise in ServiceMax, ServiceMax Mobility, SFM, Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud , Field Service, Communities, Salesforce Development and Customization, SOAP, REST, Integrations, Lightning, Apex, Lightning Migration, Agile, DevOps, Ant Tool, GitHub, Eclipse.

  • Ability to work independently in Global environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to perform in extremely dynamic environment with Agile development approach.

  • Keen interest to learn new technology and build expertise

  • Self-motivated to achieve excellence with ‘can do’ attitude

  • Passion for Organizational Excellence in Customer Care

  • PD 2 & ServiceMax Certification preferred.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in the industrial vertical

  • Knowledge on Mobility

  • Problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization

  • Experience in multiple CRM platforms

  • Must be salesforce certified - architect or cloud consultant
