Responsibilities:

  • Report KPI’s and global strategy guidelines to the Sourcing / Procurement Leader

  • Lead data gathering and analysis process

  • Monitor & Improve Suppliers & Sourcing operation performances

  • Asses supplier performances and develop the supplier processes

  • Support to define/match to the global sourcing strategy

  • Support supplier T&Cs negotiations and other specific clauses

  • Work closely with functional leaders to prepare strategic changes

  • Prepare forecast & backlog for her/his commodity

  • Support reporting of tendering and product cost out activities

  • Support discussions with suppliers during execution in case of claims and PO changes

  • Develop a strong relationship with Manufacturing, Engineering and Product Line teams to meet key business target around inventory, cost, cash, supplier quality, NPI and fulfillment

  • Mitigate fulfilment risks by analyzing sole/single source vendors

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive standardization and continuous improvement of purchasing processes

  • Support material procurement included on his/her commodity/suppliers and deal with the Purchasing process (check Purchase requisition list, place POs on time, track PO acknowledgement, set up Operation rhythm with suppliers to monitor On time delivery, track all exception messages through MOS, track Non Conformities and make sure that suppliers are paid on time)

  • Support missing material reviews (get the best cycle times from suppliers, track critical path items and report their status to business leaders and the planning team, track VBB, communicate drawing changes to suppliers and update POs accordingly)

  • Support supplier Non-Conformities (communicate delivery status of NCs to the quality team, communicate with supplier / SQEs to fix supplier material issues et monitor closely the delivery)

  • Support ERP set up (IR, lot, safety stock, Reorder point, PD, ND…)

  • Support continuous improvement projects and ERP transition

Qualification/Requirements:

  • Ability to see around corners and be proactive

  • Excellent communication and networking skills

  • Fluent in English, additional European languages a plus

  • Having active student enrollment in Business or similar

  • Excellent understanding of key business processes and organizational dynamics

  • Ability to plan and work independently, set priorities to achieve key targets and objectives

  • Quick learner, open minded, can-do attitude, self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible

  • Proven strategic and analytical skills in MS Office

  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement processes and best practices

  • Willing to change and improve (Lean thinker)

  • Availability: min 28 hours/week but 40 is preferred

  • Previous sourcing or negotiating is an advantage

  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
