Job Description Summary

As a Software Manager, you will help the Digital Healthcare transformation and change the world to promote digital solutions for better healthcare diagnosis.

You will drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse at a release level, working in scrum team and with teams across business, adding value to build and release engineering discussions.

In a challenging world, with customers willing to work with applications from workstation to cloud, at workplace or at home, you will help the teams to build and release their projects, making sure that those projects are compliant, built with quality.

You will help the teams to understand the constrains and the diversity of usages and building the right strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have to:

  • Coach and manage a team

  • Conceive and program software modules and components for a Large Scale Agile organisation

  • Develop features or whole EPICS and seize full responsibility of it

  • Have the ability to develop functionalities in their verticality, from the back-end to the front-end

  • See the whole and build the capability of the organization to build great product

  • Manage and develop performance

  • Have the ability to organize work and team work

  • Demonstrate expertise in software development lifecycle

  • Be eager to develop team members

  • Provide expertise in quality engineering, test planning and test methodology for efficient coaching

  • Use experience to influence others

  • Apply methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques

  • Commit to relentlessly train and coach people

  • Develop competences from observation (Go See), training and coaching

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with advanced experience of at least 5-7 years in the field of software development and coaching teams

  • Work experience as a software development engineer

  • Work experience in Healthcare imaging and AI, with strong product deliveries in clinical software

  • Experience in software design and web application design

  • Experience in removing obstacles and making improvements

  • Understanding of the back-end logics of loading and rendering images and in the front-end, handling and creating features (HTML5/JavaScript)

  • Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • UX knowledge recommended

  • Multi-tasking in project coordination

  • Problem solving and getting better at improving development

  • Ability to recruit and develop talents
