General Electric Site Planning Designer in Budapest, Hungary

Job Description Summary

As Site Planning Specialist you will be responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparation of site installation drawings of medical equipment in Autodesk AutoCAD. Drawings based on the technical requirements, workflow needs, local specifications and other provided documentation.

  • Independent resolution of issues using established procedures. Consulting supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Communication with peers (other Designers and Modality Leaders) and customers (Project Managers of Installation) to ensure finding the right solution and resolving issues in a smooth and efficient way.

  • Communication with customers from all EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) regions.

  • Administration and review of all necessary data along daily drawing production.

  • Continuous attendance at various trainings to ensure actualization of knowledge regarding the technicalities and process.

Required Qualifications

  • Autodesk AutoCAD (or equivalent software) knowledge and experience.

  • Fluency in English AND French language.

  • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Ability to work in a team.

Desired Characteristics

  • Diploma in engineering.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to document and plan small projects.

  • Good time management skills. Ability to work in short-deadline environment.

  • Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Vault knowledge.

  • Additional language: Russian OR Italian (not mandatory)
