Reporting to the Parts & Repairs Leader, the Service Sales Support Specialist is responsible for all support works around the service business and parts sales. The Service Sales Support Specialist will actively engage with customers to create and follow up on quotes and help pushing service sales campaigns into the field. This ranges from supporting the campaign design, definition of target customers lists and contacts, supporting mailing initiatives and phone follow up of specific campaigns to generate customer demand.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Service Sales Support Specialist adapts to excellent relationship with external customers, support GE Power Conversion with inside sales and sales support activities, gathering market data, generate and handle customer interest and demand detection. Provide well defined leads to Sales-, Fleet- and Contract Managers

  • Build and maintain relationship with customers by providing advice and information about Power Conversion products

  • Promote the client’s products and services for business partners via phone

  • Detect new purchasing projects over the phone with both new and existing customers

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, also following- up on the generated leads/opportunities on a regular basis

  • Follow – up sales opportunities and support the field work of Sales-, Fleet- and Contract Managers

  • Follow script and provide marketing information for the business clients

  • Register all relevant information captures during customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management tool

  • Get to know, understand and deliver different customer service processes

  • Handle customer requests, and provide them with the necessary support

  • Conduct a rated call in line with the targets in telemarketing activity on a daily basis

  • Understand and fulfill all regulations of the internal policies of the company

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Advanced level of German and English skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, customer – focused approach

  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers

  • Creative and innovative personality

  • Result – oriented personality and capability to overcome obstacles

  • Ability to work in a team or individually if required

  • Sales mindset

  • Customer service attitude

  • Proficient IT skills including Salesforce, Excel and Outlook

Desired Characteristics:

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience in out-bound and in-bounds calls
