Role Summary / Purpose:
SAP SD Functional Expert will have a key role in Renewable SAP Factory.
He/She will be the interface in between Central Business Leaders, Application owners and End User community.
From a core model application standpoint he/she will be ensuring a strong alignment between Business strategy and priorities, IT strategy and technology roadmap.
As an expert of finance in accounting and controlling domains he/she will help the business in defining requirements and business rules for its respective domain and will convert it in functional design
He/she will ensure for each process definition of relative KPIs to guarantee process application accuracy and performance measurement
He/she will ensure, by configuring SAP system or interacting with developers, solution delivery in line with business requirement and prepare appropriate set of documentation
He/she will provide an appropriate level of communication to all stakeholders and support in deploying solution ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
SAP SD Functional Expert has a global responsibility of the Sales and Distribution domain from an application and process standardization perspective with good understanding of AR financial impacts and interactions with other modules. Within this domain he/she will:
conduct opportunities studies, working with Business representatives and IT leaders (identify main business pain points, business challenges and potential ROI),
in relationship with domain leader, propose roadmap priorities,
be proactive in proposing solutions in line with GE best practices and standard from the market
deliver SAP solution in cooperation with technical team and in coordination with business stakeholder
support with ad hoc actions that facilitate the solution appropriation and its complete and its efficient use by end users
ensure documentation accuracy
This role requires autonomy, capability to animate teams around the world, commitment and excellent knowledge of SD processes for Turnkey project business and capital goods industry.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA/BsC/MA/MsC or equivalent knowledge or experience
Fluency in English
SAP expertise in SD. FICO and MM knowledge are a plus
Strong operational experience in Turnkey project business and Capital goods industry.
Prior exposure to operations (as a project/maintenance team member, or end user).
Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl. exposure & awareness)
