Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Corporate Payments COE Leader, this role is responsible for monitoring automated payment processes, identifying, and resolving upcoming issues, communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Participating in process improvement, onboarding, or automation projects to improve disbursements processes across the Corporate COE.

Essential Responsibilities:
Execute issue resolution routines by monitoring automated payment processes, identifying, and resolving issues within SLA
Handle internal customer queries regarding the payment process on a timely manner
Communicate with internal stakeholders in Russian and English
Approve payments (manual and/or batch payment) in a timely manner for various GE businesses
Be an ambassador for creating a LEAN culture that facilitates adequate segregation of duties, risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with functional owners and other teams during project life cycle, including banking setup verifications, testing, rifle shot payments and Hypercare. Provide training and ensure successful handover to operational teams.
Drive change management methodologies, consistent communication, and training processes to gain user & stakeholder engagement, adoption
Collect and analyze data to help facilitate problem solving activities and identify countermeasures to address business problems.
Support strategic projects to reduce ERP payment defects, eliminate manual payments, remove process waste, and improve controllership. Support adherence to Enterprise Standard processes by minimizing exceptions and creating streamlined, automated solutions.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream stakeholders, including S2P organization, IT teams, Treasury Infrastructure & Operational teams to establish shared accountability for ensuring timely and successful payments execution, to continuously improve process performance and quality, and obtain productivity. Assist with solving repetitive system and bank production issues requiring interface with Bank, IT and Product Management leaders to ensure timely resolution.
Qualification / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related area.
Minimum of 3 year of experience with B2P, AP or Payment processes
Finance shared services experience, or solid understanding of shared services dynamics
Presentation & communication (oral & written) skills, fluent in English
Proven ability to work independently to achieve results.
ERP Knowledge (primarily Oracle R12 instances; SSS is an advantage)
Project management exposure (with emphasis on planning, cost/benefit, stakeholder management, risk assessment, escalation, operating rhythm) – and hands-on experience in executing smaller initiatives
Willingness to drive process excellence with focus on simplification, standardization, transformation (+Change / Lean mindset, structured problem solving)
Strong organizational skills – ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with stakeholders & business clients
Results oriented: self-starter with strong ownership & accountability with a proven track record of execution
Computer skills especially Excel, PPT, Visual- Key Performance drivers
Knowledge of Treasury payment system infrastructure (i.e. Trax, TRS, Webcash is advantage)
Desired Characteristics
LEAN experience a plus
Being fluent in Russian (oral & written) is a huge advantage
Candidates with experience with GE S2P (invoice processing or vendor management) or other related fields (IT, Infrastructure) will have an advantage
Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances. Able to work in ambiguous situations. Experienced in a matrix and global environment preferred
Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving results across multiple stakeholders and departments.
