Our People Operations Center in Budapest is an HR process and administration organization of more than 180 employees. In People Operations we take care of GE employees in their moments that matter, consolidating and delivering HR services for our different GE Businesses (e.g. Power, Renewable Energy, Aviation and Healthcare) across Europe.

Our HR services portfolio is covering, among others: employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll, personnel administration, employee life cycle changes, benefit administration and employee query handling. WE COUNT ON YOU TO:

As Team Leader you will perform all people management related activities including, but not limited to, information sharing with the team, annual priority setting and related quarterly performance evaluation, coaching and individual development support, performance improvement planning, succession, and talent management.

You will also be managing respective HR services and processes, monitoring KPIs and ensuring they are met on team and individual levels and that regular operational reviews are held with relevant stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and simplification respective to own processes and responsibilities.

WE NEED YOU TO:

  • Be fluent in Italian and English.

  • Lead People Operations processes and services for the GE employees who are based in the country/location under your responsibility.

  • Work closely with respective HR Business Partners for dedicated GE location and cooperate with the People Operations Country Leader, senior experts, service delivery and regional product delivery leaders.

  • Have significant leadership experience in a complex customer service-oriented operational

  • Build, lead & develop a high-performing team through engaged and passionate leadership.

  • Have cultural awareness & sensitivity to flex style to suit differing cultural norms.

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement with assigned processes/country and work closely with team members, other People Operations Leaders, HR & Business Leaders and Process Improvement resources to understand root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Measure end-customer satisfaction through weekly evaluations, develop action plan to mitigate any operational risks or to resolve escalated issues.

  • Monitor operational performance leveraging data, facts, and metrics; identify and act on any trends or problems to maintain and improve performance levels.

  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus.

  • Project management experience is an advantage.
