Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Financial Management of a portfolio of complex and long term Hydro projects, being the Finance Manager for Project Directors and driving accurate Project Margin updates.

  • Responsible for P&L and Balance Sheet by project with weekly/monthly reporting to regional Finance organization and Hydro Project Finance Manager leader.

  • Managing the quarterly financial closing for his/her project portfolio, including Sales booking entries in accordance with US GAAP and Revenue Recognition policy

  • Support the development of global functions for specific area of expertise such as Billing, Site cost, Export Finance and leverage them for effective project finance management.

  • Responsible for main project indicators (sales, margin, reserves), tracking Risk & Opportunities, in close coordination with regional and Head Quarters FP&A organization.

  • Monitoring FX risk trough different Legal Entities & functional currencies, partner with Head Quarters Treasury department to identify and mitigate risk.

  • Ensure proper Quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations for the projects balance sheet accounts in coordination with shared service accounting team and Business’s Controllership department.

  • Own Internal and external audits for project’s specific request and details


  • Hands-on approach and autonomous;

  • English speaker, another language could be a plus;

  • Excellent accounting and strong analytical skills;

  • International experience in multinational firm strong advantage;

  • Willingness to challenge existing processes, problem solving;

  • Bachelor degree or higher education with a 3+ years of experience
