General Electric Lead Operational Controllership Analyst – R2R in Budapest, Hungary
The Global Ops Finance Record to Report (R2R) Digital Transformation Team is a component of the Global Ops Finance Europe organisation. The R2R Global Ops Finance Europe team is in charge to provide support mainly related to the regular activities related to the closing of the books of GE’s affiliates across 31 countries in Europe in contact with the local/regional business controllership teams and the teams of the other enterprise standards based in Budapest.
Services are governed by the GE R2R Enterprise Standards.
Services scope include preparatory and closing activities in areas like Compensation & Benefit, Treasury, Commercial, Supply Chain or Tax and Intercompany.
Spanning across R2R is the Digital Transformation team which is responsible for supporting, implementing and expanding enterprise solutions which impact multiple businesses and processes.
Projects include: transactional system enhancements and ERPs enhancement, integration.
The Lead Operational Controllership Analyst will be part of Renewable Finance IT organization within Global Ops – Finance IT / transformation organization supporting the roll-out of system integration activity working with digital and It organization on the execution of the project, designing UAT and coordinating Go / No Go decision making in close coordination with various stakeholders.
Will be responsible for aligning with stakeholders and ensuring timely execution of project.
Additionally, they will support strategic decisions and ensure communication to impacted parties within R2R.
Proactively look for project risks and mitigating solutions
Act as key owner for some of the strategic projects like ERP integration, transition
Coordinate with Business and GO R2R team on any enhancements or developments required including but not limited to: functional requirements, cost benefit analysis, process maps, timelines and testing support
Serve as single point of contact for global leader for respective initiative
Presentation of projects, impacts and benefits Renewable C’ship, FP&A and transformation leadership team
Regular updates to global business Ops controllers on initiatives
Support ad hoc requests for Global Ops leadership
Ability to work independently while proactively communicating roadblocks
Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Ability to work and prioritize under deadlines
Prior finance experience in a multinational environment
Strong communication & presentation skills
BS degree in Finance or related field
Written and verbal fluency in English
First-hand experience in large multinational companies
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (powerpoint, excel, etc.)
