We are looking for Lead FP&A professionals in our growing 200+ finance division in Gas Power Hungary, Budapest. The Hungary Finance Team performs various tasks in 8 functions (FP&A, Controllership, Supply Chain, Finance IT, TAX, Statutory, VAT) which offers a great opportunity to exploit potential synergies and to be part of a great global finance organization. The HUB presents at Váci Greens in Budapest.

Please note: this is an EVERGREEN position, meaning that the Talent Acquisition Specialist will contact suitable candidates as soon as the intake for this vacancy opens. Currently we are gathering potential candidates who would be interested in this role.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assist in the reporting and analytics, both detailed and summarized view of parts P&L results

  • Assist in business planning processes (forecasts, Session II and Operating Plan) and reporting rhythms

  • Drive quarter closes and ensure timely, accurate and complete results reporting

  • Analyze variances and trends to determine changes in key business metrics vs. expectations and review with leadership team

  • Provide sustainable and insightful analysis and reporting of key business metrics and partner with the Parts operating team to drive appropriate actions.

  • Support hedging activities and provide analysis and recommend hedging actions

  • Leverage technology and tools to drive efficiency in work, increasing the level of standard work

  • Identify LEAN projects to drive standard work and continuous improvement of analytics through automation

We will require from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree In Accounting or Finance, supporting strong fundamental accounting skills

  • Experience in closing, analyzing, and forecasting in a multiple legal entity environment

  • Experience with core financial systems and processes (GL, transaction registers, journal entries)

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting with multiple levels across the organization

  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

  • Strong excel and power point skills

  • Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas

Your chances are higher if you have:

  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Tableau, etc.)

  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
