General Electric IT Project Manager in Budapest, Hungary
Role Summary:Inside a functional domain of the Digital Technology organization, you will be responsible for technical project execution, from understanding functional and product requirements to delivering high quality outcomes to internal customers.
You will influence key stakeholders in design and planning decisions and drive the development of products. This role combines the business vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories.
Lead on single medium-size project or multiple small-size projects impacting a single domain. Follow project management process and practices, improve as needed
Manage and balance product, technical, security, process and deployment requirements and risks to ensure a successful delivery of assigned projects
Lead/manage with business and IT team members and provides subject matter expertise to formulate solutions that meet or exceed the business stated objectives
Lead/manage the development of the program, as needed, through the various stages to include, but not limited to project plan creation/execution, financial planning, vendor sourcing, leading technical teams in development of solution, business testing, change management and end-user support
Own and manage the backlog in addition to intermediate and major features releases; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready, meeting quality standards and functional requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Strong professional experience in similar role
Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks, preferably in an Agile manner – being able to assign appropriate story points to requirements
Continuous improvement mindset
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with functional and technical teams
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-cultural and remote teams. Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to understand functional requirement and translate into technical requirements to meet expectations of both business partner and development team.
Track project outcomes versus business expectations
Demonstrate knowledge of software development life cycles to collaborate with teams across all aspects of software delivery
Demonstrate understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product
Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders
Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
