Job Description Summary
As a Intercompany Settlement Leader you will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. This role will require you to have extensive knowledge of the best practices and how own area integrates with others. This scope is responsible for closing intercompany invoices on timely basis and intercompany liquidation globally.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for Steam Power (SP) Intercompany liquidation globally (collection and outgoing payments included)
Ensure timely closing of intercompany invoices
Ownership and clear understanding of Intracompany cash movements (composition and movements) on monthly and quarterly basis
Partner with IT and transformation to complete Netting Center deployments across Steam Power
Run day-to-day Netting Center operation: including but not limited to extract, analyses , unblocking items and execution F110 transaction, manage Hedging where applicable, manage bank clearing
Define and Drive performance reviews on outsourced activities with Service Providers – KPI-s, metrics, and control
Review and approve SP related manual payments and act as gate keeper to guarantee business asset’s efficient usage
Partner with multiple business functions to ensure business continuity in terms of settlement processes
Drive reduction in aged unapplied cash items
Lead process fix and improvement initiatives regarding Intercompany cash settlements – especially, but not limited to restricted currency countries cash movements
Ensure timely and accurate input for dedicated area on BS reviews and FRP reviews
Maintain strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders across functions, within and outside of business
Roll-out ‘best in class’ processes across the business
Implement business ops strategy to day to day operation
Co-ordination and review of complex transactions and confirmation of the accounting treatment
Understand GE Policies and ensure that all accounting processes are in line with GE regulations and principles, and confidentiality is respected in data handling when working with personal data and/or sensitive data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance from an accredited university or college
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
