We are looking for a candidate for the GE Renewable Energy (https://www.ge.com/renewableenergy) part of the Finance transformation team who will be one of the key stakeholder of the simplification, standardization and the transformation journey for GE Renewable Energy (REN)

Role & responsibilities
The role of the candidate is to put in place an organization to govern the usage & the structure of the GE Renewable Energy Finance Data Lake – FDL
1- Define with all the components of the REN Finance team (Finance), the REN Digital team (DT) and the Corporate team maintaining FDL (FDL team) the expected need from the finance team leveraging the Lean methodology where possible
2- Pilot the development and the ingestion of data in FDL with the DT team and the FDL team inc. management of priority, monitoring ingestion, developing testing plan, ensuring proper controls
3- Define a governance plan to ensure all Data ingested are properly documented and properly reconciled between reports
4- Define Key Performance Indicators to track implementation progress and to measure productivity generated by FDL
5- Whilst continuing any project in progress leveraging FDL such as auto-reconciliation, External digital audit, FP&A reports
Essential Responsibilities :
Finance Data Lake owner for REN
Implementation of a governance to organize and structure data in FDL or to be ingested in FDL
Define KPI ensure FDL will generate the expected level of productivity
Skills & Experiences :
Excellent communication / capability to manage cross functional project
Curiosity – capability to challenge status quo
Comfortable basic accounting principles (TB, TR, Sub Ledger, Balance Sheet, P&L, Debits/Credits, reconciliation, audit trail) and accounting controls such as SOX requirement
Analytical thinking – ability to understanding data management / data structure
Lean certification will be a plus
