The Statutory Global Ops Finance European Team is a component of the Global Ops Finance Europe organisation. The team is in charge to provide Statutory services to the legal entities (800+) operated by the GE affiliates across 31 countries in Europe in contact with the local/regional business controllership teams and the local corporate tax teams. Services are governed by the GE Enterprise Standards and GE Map 20.30.
Services scope include filing annual local legal entities Statutory accounts (from Stat filing planning to board meeting and filing to the local regulators including KPMG audit where necessary) and preparing local tax returns (CIT, VAT and other local Taxes) under the strict control of the corporate tax team.
Wing to wing statutory accounting - from planning to filing
Preparation of Statutory financials for local and regional business controllers
Coordinate audit with all related internal (R2R, B2P, Treasury), and external stakeholders (auditors, tax)
Participating in migration projects, ERP deployment projects
Lead and participate in simplification projects
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Strong financial accounting knowledge, multi GAAP experience - preferably external audit / public accounting experience
Excellent communication, effective interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills, highly professional style
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong Russian and English knowledge both in written and oral
Willingness to travel
