Role Summary:

The Commercial Shared Services (CSS) is a component of the Global Ops organisation. At CSS we work on tasks that directly impact customers. We provide services to GE sales and service teams that enable them to attract and serve customers faster, with better quality.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Within the CSS organization the team has been put in place to enable Customer facing employees to spend the maximum of their time with the Client and help them throughout the whole Customer lifecycle. From Customer onboarding (Customer Master), through Installed Base Management, preparation of price proposals and service contracts to various sales reporting, the team provides solutions for GE businesses in various domains (fields).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Prepares and consolidates quotes/ proposals as per applicable rules, coordinating and collaborating with Sales and other relevant functions, as needed

  • Analyzes the Requests For Quotes

  • Dispatches the relevant part of RFQ to all identified contributors leading to robust proposal consolidation,

  • Manages the proposal kickoff meeting if required and is responsible for proposal schedule implementation

  • May prepare commercial & technical tender documents

  • May ensure that all the tender data (such as RFQ, own RFQ analysis, bid documents, variation summary, handover certificate etc) are stored & systematically updated during negotiation phase till handover in appropriate shared directories

  • May organise deal reviews was per DOA

  • Update all tender data within SFDC to maintain "paper trail" and data accuracy

  • May participates & Supports the HandOver to OTR team meeting including its preparation with Sales (if requested by Sales),

  • May participates & Supports the Win/Loss Analysis

  • Ensures that each request related to commercial operations is documented, compliant with established business controls and is processed in a timely manner

  • Fulfill seamlessly all the tasks and responsibilities of the given operations process based on the standards of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification

  • Understand and fulfill all regulations of the internal policies of the company

Desired Characteristics:

  • University or Colleague degree

  • Timely management of incoming daily requests for quotation for a major GE business, focus on execution within SLA and quick delivery aiming at business success by enabling sales and services team win deals faster.

  • Additional tasks in line with the role might involve follow up activities on delivered deals with a view of supporting and enhancing revenue generation.

  • High level of professionalism, accuracy and ownership is required, as well as ability to work under pressure during quarter closure.

  • Great team player, as role will involve intense communication with local commercial team, quick learner and able to work independently on tasks owned.

  • High level of professionalism, accuracy and ownership is required, as well as ability to work underpressure during quarter closure.

  • Native or close to native Italian + good level of English, any additional languages (French, German) is a plus.
