General Electric Controllership Intern in Budapest, Hungary
Role Summary:We are looking for a candidate for the GE Renewable Energy (https://www.ge.com/renewableenergy) IT Finance team who will have the opportunity to gain expertise in Data analytics including Finance System & data structure simplification of a multinational company. This is a 6 months assignment, during which the candidate will work in a truly global team with market leading enterprise data management tools.
Essential Responsibilities:They will work on governing and democratizing Big Data, making it available to multiple end users via various reporting and analytical desk top tools, including the creation of dashboards, user forms, and workflows.
Big Data management & structuring of data
Define and perform Data reconciliation between systems and datawarehouse
Be part of the definition of the data structure
Be involved in the controllership transformation projects
Ongoing studies in Data management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar BA/MA
20-40 hours/week working availability, flexible schedule
Proficient oral and written English
Comfortable knowledge of basic accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheet, Debits/Credits, Monthly closure)
Strong user level MS Office skills (Excel pivots, vlookup/MS Outlook)
Ability to learn and adapt
Team player, communicates well
