Role Summary:

Software Engineer responsible for supporting Engineering to qualify and reproduce reported defects and solving project related defects - configuration and deployments of specific applications on test environments

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Software applications configuration and installation

  • Software solutions customization

  • Databases installation and configuration.

  • Windows 2008/ 2012 servers configuration.

  • Create test environments and reproduce defects

  • Provide workarounds to project or fix configuration defects


  • Post Graduate Degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience;

  • Strong experience working within the IT industry, with a proven understanding of applications at a functional and technical level

  • Knowledge of Windows System Administration;

  • Experience with virtual machine and virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V);

  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP);

  • Good communication in English (both written and spoken);

  • Good troubleshooting skills and proactive tenacious attitude to problem solving

  • Ability to assess and learn emerging tools and technologies and quickly apply them to meet development objectives

  • Ability to work independently as well as having good team skills- be a pro-active contributor to our team

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of one scripting language (Shell/ Perl)

  • Experience with RDBMS: Oracle, MSSQL Server

  • Experience with SCADA system behavior and operation

  • Knowledge of IEC 101-104 Protocol or other industrial protocols;
