The Commercial Manager is responsible for the effective and proactive management of the Contract mechanisms including client communications, variation pricing and scheduling, identification of project risks and opportunities.
The Commercial Manager will report functionally to the Global Contracts Leader and operationally to the Project Director. Essential Responsibilities:
Identify Project margin target and maximise via variation process
Recovery of lost delivery schedule time via variation process
Efficient management of variation process and agreement of variations before Project Close-Out
Efficient communication with Clients in accordance with Contract
Register, track and respond to warranty claims in accordance with Contract
Monitor project cash position and regularly report to finance team
Actively identify potential Contract claims and support Claims Manager with necessary information and evaluations.
Actively participate in Business Review and PMR meetings.
Manage and support Contract Managers (direct reports) Qualifications/Requirements:
Suitable academic and professional qualifications related to the nature of the role.
Have a sound understanding of the SPS&SVS business and project activities
