Role Summary:

  • The Commercial Manager is responsible for the effective and proactive management of the Contract mechanisms including client communications, variation pricing and scheduling, identification of project risks and opportunities.

  • The Commercial Manager will report functionally to the Global Contracts Leader and operationally to the Project Director. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify Project margin target and maximise via variation process

  • Recovery of lost delivery schedule time via variation process

  • Efficient management of variation process and agreement of variations before Project Close-Out

  • Efficient communication with Clients in accordance with Contract

  • Register, track and respond to warranty claims in accordance with Contract

  • Monitor project cash position and regularly report to finance team

  • Actively identify potential Contract claims and support Claims Manager with necessary information and evaluations.

  • Actively participate in Business Review and PMR meetings.

  • Manage and support Contract Managers (direct reports) Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Suitable academic and professional qualifications related to the nature of the role.

  • PC literate

  • Have a sound understanding of the SPS&SVS business and project activities
