General Electric Senior Finance Manager in Brindisi, Italy

Role Summary:

The successful candidate is responsible for providing strategic P&L finance leadership and is a key member of the leadership team in Brindisi. This person will provide critical finance and business leadership, analysis, support & expertise. The focus will be to insure all critical business & financial KPIs are met, providing strategic insights into the business, assuring the consistency with the Supply Chain capacity.

Essential Responsibilities:

Some of the key tasks/activities, will include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with business leader and staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization. Strong partnership with OTR and Supply Chain team to facilitate definition of common views among the different functions.

  • Ownership for developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews.

  • Driving profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions

  • Lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification throughout the organization and to improve rigor in key Finance processes, reducing costs & improving profitability

  • Contribute to improving efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information (e.g. report dashboard and VC/BC productivity).

  • Ensure accuracy of the revenues and costs accounting and full compliance with the revenue recognition rules.

  • Support weekly/monthly/quarterly process for relevant business reviews and key planning cycles (OP, SII, Blueprint, etc.) for actuals, estimates and reporting (by product line, etc.) and present, on a routine basis, results to company Senior Mgmt.;

  • Establish key relationships with Avio Aero and GE Aviation HQ team to ensure appropriate and timely flow of information as requested. Liaise, together with Avio Aero PM & business owners with ops team leaders as necessary;

  • Finance key reference point for Inventory Physical count process/preparation and change agent for any cash improvement actions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance from an accredited university or college;

  • Strong and consistent Finance experience with progressive responsibility;

  • Proven experience in OTR finance topics/domain and Supply Chain dynamics;

  • Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken);

  • EU Work Permit.

  • GE experience preferred (CAS grads, FMP/EFLP)
