Job Description Summary
The Quality Executive will establish and lead a global Quality organization with world class standards in LM Wind Power, driving high customer satisfaction and efficient quality cost. The person will provide strategic direction, ensure operating mechanisms are in place and build organizational capabilities to improve business performance. Main areas of responsibility include Quality Systems and Products, Customer and Supplier Quality, Claims and Warranty.
Create and implement the strategic plan for LM Wind Power Quality development, focused on Cost of Quality reduction, customer satisfaction improvement, supplier quality development and the integration of standard quality systems
Build and lead the Quality organization, developing skills and competencies that meet internal and external quality standards, and in compliance with all relevant regulations, licenses, and certifications
Act as a change leadership role model across the organization, driving tactical plans with clear outcomes, coaching employees, and supporting the manufacturing plants to achieve high quality outputs
Implement a Quality Management System backed by the necessary documentation, processes, technologies, and training elements
Develop and execute plans to reduce & mitigate quality risks associated with warranty and new product introduction
Negotiate Customer Quality agreements and communicate quality issues to customers
Establish an internal audit structure with consistent quality performance metrics to secure continuous quality improvements
Make the Voice of Customer present in all levels, leading across all other functional areas towards a higher quality awareness.
Build the appropriate relationships with relevant external Quality organizations; participate in industry initiatives and benchmark best practices on quality systems improvement
