Detailed description of the intern’s duties
Deputy project manager intern to support projects execution and close-out from our China factory.
Interface to the GE project team in China to support & monitor progress.
- Project coordination & follow up projects at erection and comissioning
Follow up the project progress as per schedule
Coordinate the site activities with the local team
Update the schedule based on the actual progress
Documentation and follow up the delivery (from RFQ till delivery to site)
Responsible for shipment (document, customs clearance…)
Prepare the report of actual cost to budget/provision
Support the monthly progress reviews for early warnings, margin deviations, project reviews.
Skills & Qualities required
Knowledge : Project Management /Sourcing & Procurement / Logistics (required), Finance / Accounting (appreciated)
Languages : English & French (required), Spanish & Chinese (appreciated)
Soft skills : team spirit / Good communication
Software : Pack Office (required), MS Project (appreciated)
Training
Desired level of study/degree prepared: School of Engineer / School of Management / University license or Master in Project Management / Logistics
