Role Summary:

The Product Management PMO Manager will manage software implementation projects of GE software for customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes within the segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business go.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage Product Lifecycle Process within PM

  • Partner with Engineering PMO Leader to organize and lead cross-functional teams to effectively execute each phase of Grid’s software offerings. This includes establishing strong guiding principles, governance, and operating model for GE Digital Grid Solutions PM.

  • Drive execution on each phase of the Digital Grid Software offering from ideation though go-to-market – facilitating the closure gaps and driving resolution on issues.

  • Drive PM Standard Work:

  • Drive detailed documentation and project planning, creating timelines, project plans, updates.

  • Focus on PM’s consistent use of collaboration platforms and tools for scale and efficiency.

  • Produce regular status reports that are audience appropriate to communicate with executives and teams as well as impactful weekly updates for broad distribution to drive awareness and transparency.

  • Enable PM Collaboration & Execution

  • Identify connective tissue between workstreams and how teams should work together. Manage workstream dependencies by forcing collaboration across multiple teams until an accepted solution is in place.

  • Provide rapid visibility of major gaps/risks to leadership for discussion, decision, closure.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualification:

a. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 14+ years of experience in an engineering, or project management, or Enterprise Software, or subscription and SaaS businesses related position.

b. 8+ years’ experience in experience in consulting, strategy & operations, and program management

Eligibility Requirement :

Desired Characteristics:

  • Superior project management skills with proven success to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.

  • Understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results.

  • PMP or similar certification a plus, but not required

  • Results-driven leader who is fearless about execution, can champion a vision and roadmap, and is not afraid to dig into the details with the front-line team.

  • Data-driven mindset with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making.

  • A strong team player who supports their extended team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, both written and verbal communications as well as visualizations and associated tools.

  • Get-stuff-done mindset with a strong bias towards action
