General Electric Lead Customer Project Engineer in Bothell, Washington
Job Description Summary
In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand and define requirements, develop technical proposals, and set expectations for software implementations/upgrades and interface projects. You will act as the technical lead, as well as an individual contributor, on these engagements, contributing to software implementation, troubleshooting, customization, and integration into customer systems while balancing scope versus project time and resource commitments.
Essential Responsibilities :
Under general supervision, performs assigned system integration and testing tasks.
Under general supervision, integrates software applications for customer.
Performs intermediate complexity custom software development tasks.
Completes intermediate tasks in diagnosing and fixing systems and applications problems.
Completes project and system documentation and internal testing. Assists in the development of progress reports to the customer. Responsible for documentation on all tasks and development work assigned.
May own a subset of a project and be responsible for integrating, configuring and testing this piece of the project.
Provide workshops and training for customer.
May provide input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates.
Interfaces with customers on specific projects or technical issues.
May assist in conducting technical review of application designs and working with the application areas to ensure that project requirements are met.
Provides limited marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers.
May mentor interns and junior staff.
May be required to work extended hours, carry cell phone and be on call.

- Bachelor's Degree+with 4 years of experience min.
Five (5) years software design, software integration and/or EMS, ADMS, or related experience.
Strong software systems development and integration skills.
Proven understanding of highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real-time environment.
Good scripting/programming and database skills.
Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and problem solve.
Experience with Unix, and/or Windows.
Good PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to write professional and technical reports and procedures. Ability to make informal presentations to technical and non-technical staff and customers.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
Ability to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs.
Travel (via car or airline) to US or international locations
Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems
Strong spoken and written English language skills
Experience with data extraction and conversion
