The Site Manager will be in charge for the Vineyard Wind site
You will be responsible for managing Environment Health and Safety, budgets, turbine availability/quality and resources to continuously improve performance and customer satisfaction and scalability at highest safety standards. Close cooperation with Engineering and commission functions are an essential part for the success of the prototype validation.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Site Manager, you will:
Ensure compliance of all regulations and directives for occupational safety and safety at work as well as GE internal safety guidelines
Manages contract and area/site performance in terms of safety, cost budgets, technical escalation, and process compliance
Drive and manage a strong GE culture on site and supports the implementation / adaption of tools and systems
Managing of service technicians including all related administrative tasks such like timesheets and work order approval
Identify resources demands in terms of new hires, replacements and additional labor including 3rd parties to cope with workload peaks and coordinate realization
Responsible for the identification of qualification and training needs of (field) technician’s labor
Control of operational costs including implementation of cost out programs and productivity improvement plans
Be the point of contact for the customer representative on all site-specific day-to-day matters
Manage component/parts deliveries, manpower levels, service schedules, requisitions, documentation requirements etc
Participate in process & quality improvement and business initiatives and provide feedback on lessons learned to other departments
Establish and maintain a close cooperation with other departments to support and ensure prototype success
Qualifications/Requirements:
Master Craftsman’s Diploma / Certified Engineer or professional education in electro-mechanical or electrical engineering sector with 3+ years of technical experience with Wind Turbines or equivalent knowledge or experience
Minimum of 5 years of significant experience of wind operations especially in the field of operations and maintenance activities
