General Electric Operations Performance Management Product Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Role Summary:

Identifies ideal targets for offering alignment and interlock points between key stakeholders in product management, marketing functions and sales

In this role, you will:

  • Understands how personas intersect across the portfolio of offerings, their impact on messaging and campaign themes

  • Collaborate w/ product management and sales to foster interlock on audience identification, buyer needs, and messing; alignment with corporate marketing and campaign teams on themes, content architecture and execution.

  • Voice of customer – understand and analyze customer needs

  • Voice of sales – gather feedback on use cases, selection criteria and functionality required

  • Segmentation and targeting – document and communicate high-level business requirements for each segment

  • Value proposition – help develop clear and compelling value propositions that address customer outcomes

  • Go-to-market – support marketing strategy, sales enablement and launch plans for new releases; generate product naming, campaigns, messaging, content and thought leadership in support of new releases

  • Content – lead and execute compelling content development for marketing campaigns to promote product/service portfolio

  • Sales enablement – deliver information, content and tools in a prescriptive manner that aligns to the buyer’s journey (sales playbook, demo, target customer lists, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to generate compelling stories

  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis research

  • Brand – Ensure all aspects of product marketing content are on brand, consistent, focused on customer outcomes, and employ best marketing practices

  • Helps develop marketing requirements document – document business case, VOC, value, design and prioritization requirements for early new product releases tollgates

  • Metrics – measure and drive lead generation, orders and sales performance (as needed) Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university or college

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in strategic marketing, product marketing, market analysis, consumer insights, sales/branding or related field experienceEligibility Requirements:
