Job Description Summary
Role Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist has two main objectives that support increasing the total capacity of our sales team. First, they are to manage renewals and expansion opportunities – taking lead on simple, smaller deals in support of their account managers. Second the successful Inside Sales Specialist will quality and maintain close relationships with GE Digital prospects & customers, working as a liaison between account directors and our lead generation team. The goal is to empower our account directors to focus on the key deals by delivering an excellent customer experience to customers, especially those with renewals planned. As the position firms and your team is ready to capitalize on their newfound capacity you’ll work to expand our sphere of influence in key accounts, qualify early stage leads, land small solutions that expand our footprint, and learn how to function as a key account manager.
The successful candidate needs to master the commercial process and point out pinch point to improve customer experience in renewing and simple deals. To achieve this, they will partner with all Sales functions, gather market data, generate and handle customer interest. Once this is mastered, they will expand their goals and partner on well qualified Leads/Opportunities with the assigned sales managers.
Also, he/she needs to inform our Install Base customers about new Products releases and create demand for key upgrades. He/she also supports the Marketing team in the set up & follow up of events and remote campaigns.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Own and manage renewals, pipeline forecasting, and simple deal delivery for their assigned account managers
Data entry and enrichment to support installed base cleanup and database integrations
Initiate, build and maintain relationships with prospects/customers by providing information about products and services
Promote product and services via phone, email and other channels as required
Handle prospects and customers’ incoming requests, provide necessary support, qualify and route according to business rules
Identify sales opportunities over the phone with warm leads (Marketing Qualified Leads or BD Qualified Leads) from both new and existing customers
Start conversations with decision makers (“right persons”) to generate interest and detect demand on products and services offered
Perform 20+ activities contributing to sales cycles daily, from qualifying leads to updating customer opportunity status to preparing quotation for renewals or land deals
Provide feedback to marketing and Sales Development to improve the quality if leads and create new hyper-targeted campaigns for your territory from the materials generated by Marketing and Sales Development
Develop the awareness of our customers (Installed Base) about new products and “land” targeted product or feature sets.
Register all relevant information captured during customer interactions in SFDC
Develop expertise and a personal Point of View in Electric Grid and Utilities
Achieve your quarterly and annual targets
Understand and fulfill all regulations of the internal policies of the company
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above, Engineering degree preferred
2 years of technical experience – delivery, customer support, engineering, or product management

Desired Characteristics:
0-3 years of sales, inside sales, sales support related working experience
Ability to provide excellent customer service, customer-focused approach
Demonstrate professionalism and quality on all contact with prospects and clients
Effective and professional verbal and written communication in English– both with internal and external customers
Fluent English, preferred fluency in Spanish as well
Creative and innovative personality

Proficient end-user IT skills including MS Office, Outlook and SFDC
