Essential Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level. Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction to implement the business requirements. Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint using agile methodology. Support the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends by doing proof of concept to assist in project development and/or operational support. Work on addressing the non functional requirements like performance tuning and scalability. Write code with engineers to contribute and help guide in the broader industry towards latest technology. Propose and implement deployment automation process.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 6 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related software engineering experience. Position also requires 3 years of experience with Azure, Hadoop, MQTT, AngularJS, and Docker; and 2 years of experience with SAS ESP.
