Job Description Summary

Analytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, cataloging, data mining and predictive modeling. The Senior Analytics Consultant is responsible for delivery of solutions for GE Healthcare clients in relation to GE Healthcare’s Data Strategy. This is a remote position.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements culminating in impactful data and insight driven solutions. The candidate will use computational knowledge graphs and data science techniques to harness healthcare data to meet project objectives and requirements. They will work on complex data sets from some of the world’s largest healthcare and technology organizations, with highly skilled people in data science, data engineering and design.

  • Deconstruct customer requirements to shape a data and advanced analytics approach to problem solving

  • Use computational knowledge graph technology to assimilate disparate data streams and derive higher order insights and uncover hidden patterns within the data

  • Design and execute on market-facing consulting engagements, using subject matter expertise to drive business objectives

  • Work in multi-disciplinary environments harnessing data to provide real-world impact for organizations globally, which may include Healthcare Providers, 3rd party AI developers, and Pharmaceutical manufacturers

  • Provide recommendations to influence our clients’ needs to positively change their businesses and enhance performance

  • Lead internal and external team meetings and workshops

  • Demonstrate superior presentation and succinct communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex analytical concepts to people from other fields

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Statistics, or other related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading and managing projects with outcome focused deliverables.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare domain.

  • Experience using computational knowledge graph technology or graph database infrastructure.

  • Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseriesforecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software.

  • Proven ability to accomplish large volume of high-quality work under pressure.

  • Potential to lead the design of processes & protocols.

  • Proficiency in data modeling

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to excel working in teams.

  • Ability to travel 20% or as required for customer meetings.

Desired Characteristics :

  • Graduate degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in either advisory services/consulting.

  • Strong awareness and understanding of the Healthcare industry and major trends driving transformations change using data and analytics.

  • Demonstrated experience in LEAN or Six Sigma tools.

  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking to included evaluation of ideas and synthesizing information into insights.
