General Electric Director of Strategic Pricing, USCAN Imaging in Bloomington, Illinois

Job Description Summary

This role will be responsible for the implementation and execution of key USCAN commercial operations initiatives. Those initiatives include execution of annual pricing initiatives focused on product positioning, product rationalization margin optimization and implementing a long term market pricing strategy for the Imaging business.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies that will help the business to achieve profitability goals

  • Maintain contemporary pricing strategy to ensure success in the market

  • Develop process / reporting to effectively monitor any newly implemented pricing action / strategy

  • Develop and maintain platform to monitor orders price erosion consistently and timely across all segments, products and regions

  • Support expansion of the sales distribution model in USCAN, ensuring adequate pricing is setup and maintained through the course of each distribution agreement

  • Partner with broader USCAN Value Delivery & Commercial Operations staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic consistent initiatives within the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years’ experience in sales / pricing operations or finance OR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of six years of sales operations or finance OR High School Diploma/GED and minimum of ten years financial or sale operational work experience including developing pricing strategies and leading business reviews

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a team within a large, complex and matrixed organization

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team

  • Experience leading or managing projects of various size, duration and scope

  • Ability to translate strategy into business objectives

  • Executive level presentation skills

  • Action and results oriented

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas

  • Leadership experience: has two years’ experience leading team members balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus.

  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
