Job Description Summary
In our Manufacturing Team for Hot Gas & Repair we are looking for a process engineer (m/w). Within this function you will work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary Teams like metallographic laboratory, local production, quality and the design department. In addition, you will be the contact for suppliers for design and tooling. You will take project responsibility for the qualification and introduction of new products into manufacturing and during the whole life cycle.
Job Description
Qualifying of Manufacturing processes according customer request
Creating of technical documents for manufacturing for serial production
Analyzing costs of processes and calculating manufacturing costs
Identifying potential for improvement and implementing based on Six Sigma and Lean methods
Supporting the production in problem solving and root cause analysis
Qualification / Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
High process and CNC equipment knowledge
Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
Expertise in reading technical drawings and skilled in CAD, preferable CATIA
Desired Characteristic
Knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean method
Self-initiative team player who is open to develop himself
Structured working and solution oriented
Language skills in German and English fluent
