As Plant Leader at the AvioPolska Bielsko-Biała Plant, you will be responsible for directing the functional areas of the business - where you will supervise all phases of plant operations, including production, maintenance and receiving. You will be required to translate concepts, develop strategies, drive transformation and implement change.

About Us:
At the Avio Aero plant in Bielsko-Biała we manufacture low pressure turbine components designed in our Engineering Center. We also design, develop and support entire lifecycle of many other components, sub-systems and modules of aero engines, including accessory and power gearboxes, rotating parts and structures. Our products are installed in the engines used in most well-known types of aircrafts, such as: Boeing 777, 737, 747-8, 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A320, Textron 220, Comac C919 and exploited in the most key airlines like Qatar, American Airlines, Emirates, British Airways, AirFrance, United Airlines, Japan Airlines, LOT, Lufthansa, Cargolux or NCA.
Total employees: Over 350 blue collar and approximately 100 white collar.

Essential responsibilities:
You would be responsible for meeting all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
Ensure operating mechanism to guarantee behaviors consistent with compliance, quality system and EHS requirements
Control manufacturing processes through plans that consider personnel requirements, materials, turnout, sub-contracting, facilities, tooling and equipment.
Ensure assigned employees are aware/comply with all GE government, customer and applicable policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Deep know-how in Lean principles and proven experience in Lean implementation/application
Perform necessary administrative activities associated with effective management of shop operations, including necessary interface activities with other functions and organizations required to accomplish all objectives.
Implement the Manufacturing plans as established by the Value Process Engineering Operation, utilizing processes that will assure highest possible quality products at the lowest possible cost, delivered in accordance to schedule commitments.
Support proactive proposal and inquiry activity at all organizational levels.
Develop necessary business plans to enhance the Manufacturing Plan which encompasses all program requirements, including throughput, labor hours, cycle, cost reducibility, and image.
Provide ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training.
Assure commitment in own and others actions to the pursuit of highest possible quality of services, internal and delivered products to customers.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Extensive industry experience and/or Aerospace manufacturing experience.
Additional experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing operations position.
