Job Description Summary
In this role you will be responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will Lead design discussion in a limited manner.

In this role, you will:
Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding
Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module
Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs
Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices
Be an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice
Provide guidance to a team of 5 to 7 developers with either planning and execution and/or design architecture using agile methodologies such as SCRUM
Work with Product Leaders to understand product requirements & vision
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
12+ years of work experience
Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer
Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Standard coding principles
Fluency in object oriented language like Python, Java
Comfort with Linux and Unix
Hands-on experience in AWS like S3, VPC, EC2, Route-53, RDS, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, Lambda
Experience working with cloud computing and database systems
Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs, Rest APIs
Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open source tools
Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments
Experience in AWS Infrastructure and comfortable with frameworks like MLFLow, AirFlow, Git, Flash, Docker, Spark.
Exposure to machine learning methodology and best practices
Exposure to deep learning approaches and modeling frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
