Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Fullstack Architect who will be responsible for driving technical roadmap and overall solutioning for Imaging vision architecture.

You will be responsible for providing architectural and design leadership within product teams and collaborate with imaging software councils in driving forward looking Digital tech stack roadmap based on the direction from the Senior Leadership or management aligning to organization vision.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.

  • Drive Imaging vision architecture tech stack integration strategy, Architecture and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Based on the needs from other imaging teams, Architect should be able to define the technical roadmap for platform components

  • Participate in the Enterprise Architecture governance model.

  • Coordinate closely with platform development teams and build scalable microservices and infra components.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to bring in continuous improvement.

  • Provide architectural leadership to microservices development tech leads and team members

  • Act as a member of the Software council, representing the face of high quality design and defining forward looking technology roadmap

  • Collaborate with Architects, Technical Leads, Product Owners and Software Developers to ensure coverage of non-functional requirements for platforms and imaging solutions

  • Propose high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end solutions for microservices and clinical services

  • Apply principles of SDLC, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques in alignment of Healthcare domain

  • Participate architecture / design reviews and ensure meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

  • Ensure performance parameters are adhered by the development team

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.

Technical Expertise:

  • Extensive 10 plus years of experience in strategizing and providing architectural leadership for healthcare solutions and platform components developed using Rest based Microservices, Infra and PaaS (Docker, K8S etc)

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices based architecture, SPA, micro front ends, Docker / K8S, East/West traffic etc.

  • Extensive experience in tools like JMeter, Automation script development and designing scalable solutions

  • Familiarity with Healthcare Imaging and Radiology workflows

  • Experience in Object oriented programming and data structures, Micro services

  • Linux/Unix Experience

  • Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level

  • Ability to Analyze and design scalable microservices based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

  • Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.

  • Knowledgeable of full range of solution catalog within a business unit and able to discuss overall solution at depth.

  • Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.

  • Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.

Primary Skills

  • Extensive experience in microservices architecture (GRBC, Messaging), Containerization & Orchestration (K8S / K3S)

  • Rest based Microservices using GO, Python, Java, Undertow and C++ Extensive exposure to design pattern and architecture

  • BDD based automated unit testing using Cucumber

  • Basic understanding on Angular, Typescript and hands on experience in any one Database

  • Good communication and presentation skills

Secondary Skills

  • Developing platform solutions for Healthcare Imaging and Radiology workflows

  • Exposure to DICOM Standards

  • Visualization for DICOM images

  • Infra and PaaS integration using Containerization technologies Kubernetes / Docker, Grafana, Prometheus

  • HELM Charts, YAML, Ansible, Python, DevOps Pipeline Integration

  • Web UI Technologies - HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, Node JS, React and Responsive Web Design
