Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be the architecture design lead for developing end-to-end solutions using our OneData (ODP) big data and analytics platform while partnering with enterprise data management, platform technology and analytics development teams. You will drive architecture and data design patterns to best use the product suite to deliver on GE Healthcare’s strategic business units initiatives and outcomes.

In this role you will
Apply knowledge of architecture, software development methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to deliver features on ODP product suite, within planned schedule with superb quality.
Work closely with the Senior Architects for ODP to develop end-customer services using AWS native technologies, and to define and enforce architectural guidelines.
Work closely with the scrum team to implement design tenets and translate functional and non- functional requirements into artifacts.
Drive increased efficiency within the scrum team, ensure adherence to agile methods and the architectural blueprint established for the solution.
Support the engineering leadership in terms of scrum team op mechs (estimation, sprints, backlog creation, Release Planning, and cadence for delivery).
Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Knowledge on Privacy & Security Controls for Sensitive data, PHI data classification and enable data access patterns based on data consumption for functional users, Data Scientists and Applications
Work with product owners across to understand market needs & vision; quickly translate that vision into demonstrable software. Quickly define and deliver working software prototypes.
Coordinate Technical Design Reviews (Concept, Development, and Evaluation TDR’s).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8+ years of IT professional experience or equivalent of experience in Data and Software Architecture
Minimum 3+ years building Big Data and Cloud services solutions with AWS
Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security
Proven knowledge of Big Data and Cloud (AWS) eco-systems, in developing, designing, and/or operating application development platforms
Experience in Data modelling tools and concepts
Working experience with AWS Native services, such as S3, Cloud watch, Step Function, Lambda, Spark, Glue python shell, EMR, Elastic Search & Kibana reports, SageMaker, Athena
Familiarity with migrating on-premise applications onto Amazon Web Services
