Job Description Summary
The Sr. Software Engineer builds and support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions which are used to automate repetitive manual business processes. This candidate works closely with subject matter experts to optimize the process, design, build, test and deploy the automation as outlined in the requirements. The Sr. Software Engineer also creates coding guidelines that the team would follow and conducts design and code reviews for the team.
The Sr. Software Engineer builds custom products and activities that could be reused across multiple bots (In case required).
Role & Responsibilities
Designing, developing and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions across various technologies.
Assist the team in creating end to end automation solution from analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. (In case required)
Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
Build and test high quality, efficient, and maintainable automation scripts to automate manual processes.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) as necessary to identify, mitigate and resolve project issues and risks.
Develop and maintain technical documents, user testing scripts, approvals, and other relevant documentation throughout development of “BOT” processes.
Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
Come up Standards/Best Practices for the team to follow.
Perform Architecture Reviews on the Bots.
Lead vendors on technical reviews and define the standards and processes to manage the Technical reviews in REN
Able to maintain and manage Global Monitoring and technical solutions as Box API or similar. Expertise on Uipath and the technical possibilities to be implemented on the Rpa solution.
5+ years of professional experience.
3+ years of experience with one or more RPA technologies like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism etc. is required.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres etc.
Exposure to financial applications/ERP (Oracle/SAP).
Ability to break down development problems and estimate time for development tasks.
Ability to analyze business processes to suggest process improvements and develop RPA solutions around them.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Adapt to new environments and changing requirements.
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills.
Ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
Recognize collaborative behavior and participate in collaborative activities.
Demonstrate the ability to help team members.
