Roles and Responsibilities
What will you do?
You will take end-to-end responsibility of the backend in terms of component design, writing quality code, robust analysis & testing, document, deploy, manage infrastructure and fix bugs involved in a Software Product release lifecycle
You will design backend services to scale and performance
Interact with Front-end, data Engineer and Architects to understand the needs and develop solutions for best user experience
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
You contribute to the success of others in your team
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Desired Skills
Fluent in computer science fundamentals and problem solving mindset
Expert in Java, Springboot & SOLID design principles and have a desire to deepen in your current technologies as well as learn newer ones
Experience with PostgreSQL database and tools (SQL, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Spring Data)
Hands-on exposure to cloud native designs leveraging AWS services and working with SDKs
Understand DevSecOps process and implementations (Branching strategies, dockerization, CI/CD, Secured practices, log analysis, Application monitoring…)
Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
Bonus points if you are an active contributor to the community such as speaker at conferences, meet-ups, open source projects, etc…

Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team.
Displays understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer. Shows commitment to deliver the best value proposition for the targeted customer.
Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision
