Job Description Summary
Responsible for supporting and maintaining multiple user and customer-facing applications and related data processing platforms and services.
Ensures the user-facing business applications are consistently available and are highly performant meeting customer needs.

Monitor HPC performance and availability as per defined SLA’s
Act as a primary executor in responding to customer and user-reported application issues and incidents.
Ensure Incidents and problem tickets issued against supported CI’s get resolved within published SLAs, or business priority
Is aware of system-wide changes and application deployments that might impact application availability for users and takes necessary steps to prepare for and prevent applications outages due to these changes.
Support contingent workers, access, and time tracking. Be proactive in an agile working environment
Becoming skilled to monitor Applications and HPC via effective information dashboards for operational metrics, end to end system data processing, incident management, change control, and compliance.
Apply compliance policies, precedent and experience to make complex decisions. Takes calculated risks.
Support the team to identify misalignments of technology, processes, and direction against the organizational strategy. Proactively learn new tools. Identify opportunities for improvement and promote their adoption.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering.
A minimum 5-8 years of professional experience Linux Administration, HPC (High Performance Cluster), System Administration and setup of main CAE simulation tools (e.g. Ansys, Matlab, Bladed)
Good understanding of ITIL and Service Management.
Agile Scrum experience a plus
User and SSO administration, in particular LDAP
HPC (High Performance Cluster), Azure, AWS Environment & Tools
Parallel file systems and storage system (e.g. NetAPP storage, Lustre, Isilon, etc. SMB / NFS protocols)
Understanding of Infiniband architecture
Python Scripting (Very Essential)
Knowledge of CAE tools admin
Batch job management tools (PBS, LSF, etc.)
HPC sw management (Puppet, Ansible…)
Unix, Unix scripting
Network Administration and problem analysis
