Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for the field. You will own the first response, triaging, left-right look, building backlog based on feedbacks from customers. You will deliver high quality outcomes on technical projects to internal and/or external customers in Medical Devices & connectivity space.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within the team to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs.
In this role, you will:
Create a detailed system knowledge of the project and provide the first technical response to any queries coming from field team or customer.
Do the first level of technical analysis and triage the issue and pull in the right support from the larger engineering team to provide a focused solution to ensure customer satisfaction.
Own the lifecycle to ensure that future products carry any feedback from the field and work closely with product management team to help manage the backlog.
Interact with internal and/or external customers and product managers to understand customer needs and timelines
Collaborate with development and operations teams. Support them with scope considerations and project requirements
Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production
Demonstrate ability to influence customers and project managers through persuasion and influencing
Education & Technical Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development
Prior working experience with HL7 standards & usage
Prior working experience with Interface engine (preferred rhapsody)
Experience on Java technology stack
Good understanding of databases like SQL server , Install, Upgrade, High Availability, Clustering etc.
Knowledgeable on the networking concepts for Windows/Linux
Knowledgeable on the HW/VM knowledge, processors/disks etc.
Good hands-on experience working with SaaS products and IoT devices
Experience with patient care devices & healthcare domain
Understanding of Windows & C++ programming
Experience with Linux is a big plus.
Experience with J2ee/Docker/Kubernetes is a big plus.
Experience with cloud expertise is a big plus.
Prior experience of customer/field interaction
knowledge of deployment architecture and confident conversation with customer IT team is key
Excellent collaboration skills and should be able to bring feedback back to product team from the customer/field.
Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
Manage external vendors as required
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
Experience in customer engagement to facilitate requirements
Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
Continuously measures deliverables of self and team against scheduled commitments
