General Electric Software Project Lead - Reliability in Bengaluru, India

Role Summary:

Software Project Leader leading the Interventional Program Reliability Project Management Responsibilities working across global teams and stakeholders

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead the Interventional Software Reliability Objectives for NPI working with all the Software Subsystems and Program Teams. Owns the Software Reliability plan of the program and coordinates with the subsystem team to meet the reliability targets. Builds the Reliability SW Strategy and drives the execution with global teams to achieve the NPI objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with 8+ years of overall experience.

Minimum 2+ years experience in project leadership roles demonstrating successful global program ownership.

Strong expertise in Software Product design and development with programming expertise in C++/Java.

Strong project management expertise with Project Planning, Risk Management and Execution Skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills updating the progress to global stakeholders.

Excellent people skills, with the ability to work and drive global teams to meet the program goals.

Desired Characteristics:

Technical Expertise: Problem Decomposition, Estimation, Requirements Management, Methods/Practices.

Leadership: Influence/ Accountability, Execution, Collaboration.

Personal Attributes: Passion/ Perseverance, Analytical/Critical Thinking.
