Job Description Summary

Act as a subject matter expert for GE’s Privileged Access Management products

Design and develop code and scripts to automate processes including build, monitoring, alerting, and administration of the various identity platforms and products

Implement and integrate best of class commercial products both on premise and in AWS/Azure including SaaS and PaaS solutions

Document standard operating procedures and design patterns for reuse by both engineering and operations teams.

Define and operationalize IT Risk & Security strategy & policies for Identity & Access Management

Identify new technologies and solutions to accomplish to-be functionality required for the next generation of Software that GE is building

Define use cases related to the consumption of Identity & Access management services.

Provide inputs to the current Identity & Access management risk assessment and identify potential gaps in the existing solutions.

Suggest innovative approaches to mitigate existing risks in the Identity & Access management space.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.

• Ability to write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.

• Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using language of choice.

for the project

Education Qualification

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

Desired Characteristics:

Experience with one or more of the following technologies:

Development and Scripting skills and experience (ex: Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Chef, Ansible)

Cloud Technology Experience (AWS, Azure)

Privileged Access Management Tools (CyberArk, HashiCorp)

Data Analytics (Splunk, Ping, Oracle)

Personal/Leadership Attributes:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong collaboration skills to contribute to and lead discussions and communications within the team and outside, including customers and other business units.

Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence.

• Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision.
