Job Description Summary
This position is for a System Administrator/DevOps/Deployment Engineer for Teamcenter application who can support in maintaining our PLM system at highest level of performance and availability, leading installing, deploying customizations, participating in continuous improvements to modernize our system environment, and build-deploy pipeline. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently in a rapidly evolving technical environment, with quick learning and excellent logical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal applicant will be someone with predominantly Teamcenter sysadmin background who is comfortable with Linux and Windows environments. Skilled in installing and configuring Teamcenter, building and deploying customizations and configuration of PLM system, developing, configuring, and using CICD pipelines. Works independently while collaborating between developers, sustainment team and other project teams across the globe. The applicant should have ability to innovate, automate via scripts and have basic programming ability.
Independently manage Teamcenter environments end-to-end and ensure high performance and availability of the system
Work with Infrastructure teams to configure Linux / Windows servers and install Teamcenter application and integrations with other enterprise software applications
Troubleshoot PLM application issues on multiple environments
Contribute to continuous modernization of application and infrastructure topology, drive best-in-class software and methodologies
Lead and sustain Teamcenter environment in containerized, virtual and cloud environments
Operate configuration management on GIT, SVN environments, CICD via Gitflo, Ant, makefiles, etc.
Work systematically, follows, and develops standard work, has strong focus on documenting and sharing knowledge
Work with globally distributed team seamlessly, involve in understanding business requirements to implementation with a product-centric attitude
Work in Agile environment and applies LEAN methodologies, plans and estimates tasks, breaks down tasks and collaborates
Constantly develops own skills with new tools and technologies
Become skilled with SDLC, Lean / Agile methodologies, CICD, Software and Product Security, Scalability etc
Collaborates with project teams to implement end to end build and release process
Innovates and automates tasks via efficient use of tools and scripting
Self-elevates responsibility level and take on multiple initiatives at one time
Education Qualification
- At minimum, should have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum experience of 6 years.
Requirements
Technical Expertise:
6+ years of experience in Sustainment and System Administration of Teamcenter for medium / Large enterprise
Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, RAC, AWC, Application modules, FMS, customization, and configuration methodologies
Proficiency in installing, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of Teamcenter and integrations on Linux and Windows
Experience in industry standard core CICD and DevOps infrastructure components: Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, Git, Gitflo, Ant
Knowledge in configuration of Oracle, Developing SQL Queries
Good understanding of customization of PLM Application in C++, Java, Declarative programming and SDLC
Experience in setting up Linux, Windows Server, Unix Shell, scripting, automation
Knowledge in containerization with Docker, Kubernetes
Experience in working with Virtual environments on VirtualBox, Hyper-V, VMWare
Experience with cloud / AWS technology and methodologies
Understands security technologies TLS, SSO, OAuth
Understands the importance of Build and Release as part of development life cycle and with reference to continuous integration process. Fully understands the importance of different software environments like Development, QA, and Production
