General Electric Program Manager in Bengaluru, India

Role Summary:As Program Manager, own development, deployment and closure of FMI’s and End of Service Life (EOSL) projects. Owns associated metrics and processes to ensure efficient project execution, while remaining compliant with all applicable QMS procedures. Owns communication of metrics status versus modality goals to key cross functional stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding of technical concepts and knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and methodology.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and managing the compliant execution of FMI, and EOSL programs.

  • Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made.

  • Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate.

  • Oversees resources to meet schedule, budget and integration commitments of projects, including influencing the projects to meet process CTQs and hit tollgate milestones.

  • Communicates across cross functional organizations.

  • Presents to senior leaders in specific functional space.

  • Resolves gaps between functional processes and develops solutions for effective project execution.

  • Communicates across the function as an associated process expert.

  • Provide leadership during internal and external regulatory audits

Qualifications/Requirements:Degree in Computer Science or Mechanical or Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or related field or equivalent degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

Desired Characteristics:1. Demonstrated experience driving IB projects associated with deploying FMI’s, and EOSL programs.

  1. Must to have Strong hands on experience for overall FMI process including development, deployment.

  2. Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (defined as 12 years progressive experience within engineering, science, or related field, including 8 years project leadership experience within manufacturing, development, or research development)

  3. Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products

  4. Sound technical and domain experience in at least one functional technology area

  5. Demonstrated experience on global program releases throughout the entire IB program milestone cycle

  6. Strong written and oral communication skills

  7. Excellent knowledge in engineering, program management and business planning processes having experience with the full product lifecycle through M8 milestone.

  8. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task

  9. Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation

  10. Demonstrated LEAN skills
