Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Program Manager, you will :

  • Lead and drive cross-functional team of engineers and others in the development and support of new product introduction programs, Incremental release programs and productivity programs for a product (hardware content) and introduction of new hardware into an established Installed Base (IB)

  • Drive effective stakeholder management with open communication across businesses / stakeholders

  • Work with the various teams and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget, with competitive features

  • Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of programs

  • Responsible for overall planning of program and present to program core team and leadership report out.

  • Working with cross-functional team to ensure product meets manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, safety and quality requirements.

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of hardware integration at the component, subsystem, and system level.

  • Responsible for Agile Methodology practices, PI planning and sprint execution, Report out

  • Drive people, moving requirements, and dates to bring them all together into a cohesive product on time

  • Demonstrate and execute project goals with satisfying quality, performance, schedule and budget CTQ’s in a global setup

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical/ Electronic engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands on hardware development experience and 3+ years in program management or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of Agile methodology and Scrum master experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated applied Six Sigma competency.

  • Demonstrated experience with NPI, ISO and regulatory compliance process

  • Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program

  • Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (ePDM)

  • Experience with project management tools such as Rally or JIRA

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals and applicable laws and regulations

  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives coaching and mentoring in order to develop the program management pipeline and make a broader impact in the organization

  • Demonstrate experience driving variable cost productivity (VCP) and Inventory Carrying Value (ICV) reduction to enable optimized product margins

  • Strategic planner and thinker with ability to drive change across the segment products, Demonstrate experience on global product releases throughout the entire NPI cycle,

  • Expertise in LEAN skills

  • Familiarity with ISO, FDA, CE and other regulatory standards

  • Basic fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical design to channel dependencies with partner teams in Manufacturing Test, Reliability, Sourcing, Hardware Quality, Safety, Compliance, EMC, Firmware.
